Updating VR’s ethical principles

Code of Conduct Company has had the pleasure of collaborating with VR in the renewal of its ethical principles (Code of Conduct). Through this partnership, the company’s ethical principles were updated, and an online training course (e-learning) and a handbook were created to support the integration of VR’s ethical principles into everyday work.

In addition to the updated Code of Conduct, the collaboration resulted in a practical handbook for employees, which introduces VR’s ethical principles through everyday examples and real-life scenarios. We also developed an interactive e-learning designed to educate employees across the organization about ethical principles. The training encourages reflection on the role of ethics in daily work through engaging tasks and personal reflection.

VR’s renewed values and the value journey served as a strong foundation for the ethical principles’ renewal process. Members of the organization from both Finland and Sweden were engaged in the process through value workshops, personal interviews, and leadership sessions. To support learning in VR’s diverse and multilingual work community, the Code of Conduct, handbook and e-learning were translated into several languages.

As part of the collaboration we created an online training and an employee handbook, which are concrete tools for implementing ethical principles into the organization’s everyday practices.
